According to the dictionary, art is defined as a form of creative expression. Film, music and other forms of art are all creative expressions that have been around for centuries. In fact, the first films were made in ancient Babylonia. But, these days we have so many media available to us it is hard for us to see the differences between them.
In school we learn about the differences between a photograph and a painting, a film and a sculpture. However, perhaps it’s time that we start seeing that they all share some common characteristics. Perhaps the most important of these is that they are all creative expressions of human inspiration.
We might not be able to see why they are different from one another but we can see that they all make us feel something inside.
